Ashoka Changemakers activates a global network of social entrepreneurs, innovators, business leaders, policy makers, and activists to build an Everyone A Changemaker movement. To build this movement, Changemakers searches, selects and supports entrepreneurs, delivers groundbreaking analysis about seemingly intractable problems and social innovation solutions, and creates strong partnerships. Within Changemakers, a global Network Activation Team was established to build on the achievements of Changemaker Challenges and other engagements as well as maintain relationships with entrants and network partners, which are critical for developing a supportive ecosystem for the Everyone A Changemaker movement.
B Local: Mid-Atlantic Region is a community of Certified B Corporations that foster and deepen connections among organizations in the region (Delaware, Pennsylvania, Maryland, Washington, DC and Northern Virginia) that have a shared purpose and passion for using business as a force for good. B Corporations are a type of company that use the power of business to solve social and environmental problems. Since its formation in May 2015, B Local: Mid-Atlantic Region has hosted gatherings to raise awareness about the B Corporation movement and foster connections between B Corporations and other organizations advancing social, economic and environmental impact.
National Justice For Our Neighbors (NJFON) supports a hospitality ministry that welcomes immigrants by providing affordable, high-quality legal services, advocating for immigrant rights, and offering education to communities. NJFON oversees the Justice For Our Neighbors (JFON) network, which is a national alliance of 15 independently operated sites that run approximately 45 legal clinics staffed by over 20 immigration attorneys and hundreds of volunteers. Central to NJFON’s work is strengthening the JFON network so that clients are better served, JFON sites can continue to operate independently, and volunteers can work effectively.
LDI Africa is a nonprofit social enterprise that was founded by Gbenga Ogunjimi following his own international fellowship experience. LDI Africa builds the capacity of African corporations, small businesses, and nonprofits to compete in the global marketplace through the service of skilled volunteers, especially young African professionals from outside of the continent.
